Jed Schneiderman is president and co-founder Tapped Mobile, Canada’s leading mobile marketing company. Tapped specializes in helping brands/businesses connect with consumers via their mobile devices. Areas of expertise include mobile strategy development, location based marketing, mobile performance marketing and mobile video marketing.

Prior to starting Tapped, Schneiderman worked at Microsoft Canada where he was the On Line Business Group Lead where he managed BING and Windows Live portfolio. He has also worked at CTV Television Inc., where he was instrumental in the successful multi-platform launch of MTV and CTV’s digital media group. Schneiderman has also held senior marketing positions at Procter & Gamble and AOL Canada.
He is also an advisor at the Ryerson Digital Media Zone and past member of CMA Digital Council and IAB Search Committee.

This training will better prepare you and your library for the media spotlight, on good days and bad. 

Specifically, you will learn how to:
Recognize what makes news and why;
Identify news stories faster, and respond better;
Determine what to say quickly, under pressure, or with limited information;
Present complex information in simple, memorable ways;
Anticipate questions, and answer them better; and,
Expect and prepare for the unexpected.
